Fruit Cobbler
4 c Fresh fruit (or berries)
1 c Flour
1 c Sugar
1 tsp Baking powder
¼ tsp Salt
1/3 c Oil
1 (well beaten) egg
½ c Milk
Arrange fruit in 9 x 13 x 2 pan · Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon · Pour batter mixture over fruit · Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
Fruit or Berry Crisp
4 c Fresh fruit or berries (rhubarb)
1 c Sugar
¼ c Flour
½ tsp Cinnamon
Combine the above and put into a greased pan · Add ½ c water · Stir · Cover with topping: 1 c Flour ½ c Oats (regular or quick) 1 c Sugar Cut in ½ c butter or margarine till crumbly · Bake 35 minutes at 375 degrees Fruit should bubble around the edges.
